It is a large sized deciduous woody tree species reaching a height of an average of 30m. The bark is smooth and brown coloured with shallow fissures about 15-20 mm thick. The fruit is a samaroid, 13 X 12 mm, reddish-brown, rusty tomentose, with one large and 2 small wings; seed one.
It is found in Asia tropical Indian subcontinent
