Deciduous tree with 50-80 feet in height. Bark is 5-6 mm thick, dark brown to black with irregular flakes. Leaves alternate-opposite, ovate or elliptic obovate, with two large glands at the top of the petiole. Flowers are simple or branched axillary spikes, bisexual, and yellowish white in color, with unpleasant odour. The fruits or drupe is about 1-2 inches in size, woody, oboviod, obscurely 5 angled. Fruit is green-yellowish in color
